Immediate & Ongoing Needs
We can use almost anything you have to offer. We are hoping to acquire some land to build an animal sanctuary unlike any other (anyone have some land they want to donate?), and the less we can spend on supplies, the more we can save for the property and construction.
In the meantime, we're raising money and collecting supplies to keep us going so we can help more animals in more ways. None of us involved in 4 Pawsitive Change make even one penny, as we are a complete volunteer-driven operation. And when times are tough, we are the first to open our wallets, but honestly, we can't afford to support the whole organization ourselves.
That being said, we have a list of things we can use to further our cause or to pass along to others who are less fortunate to care for their pets, as they have plenty of love to give but not enough money for supplies. People shouldn't have to give up their pets simply because they hit hard times, and we want to help them keep their furry (or feathery, or fishy) companions happy and healthy.
So, without further ado, here's what we need:
(Any brand or size is appreciated)
~Cat food, wet or dry
~Dog food, wet or dry
~Pine pellet litter
~Breeze litter pellets and pads
~Dog leashes, collars, and harnesses (new or clean used ones are okay)
~Food/water bowls of any size or type
~Gift cards to Petsmart, Petco, Walmart, HEB, or any other store where pet products can be purchased
~Monetary donations to help with urgent needs
~Credit on our account for emergency vet care and medications at VitalPet Northwood (call 210-828-1406 to pay by phone)
~Kennels, crates, and carriers of all sizes
~Cat condos, towers, scratching posts, and other cat furniture (new or clean used ones are okay)
~Cat and dog beds (new preferred, but cleaned, laundered used beds okay)
~Pet grooming supplies of all kinds
~Sheets, pillowcases, towels, and other linens
~Flea medications for dogs and cats
AND THE BIG ONE... (for a fantastic tax write-off!)
Any amount of land in or near San Antonio or Bexar County
~Ideally, the land would be cleared with nice shade trees and some improvements on the property, but we'll take what we can get. A livable home on the property is even better, but as long as the land is unrestricted, we'll put it to good use and be grateful for your generosity! Thank you!
